The comprehensive Ecumenical Library at the Ruhr University Bochum gives students, academics, researchers, and anyone with an interest in ecumenism access to 24,675 volumes covering the more than 100 years of the ecumenical movement. The Ecumenical Institute currently subscribes regularly to 36 ecumenical journals, and has a wide-ranging collection of international journals and periodicals. The thematic focus of the Ecumenical Library is on the subject areas of ecumenical theology, church and confessional studies, the history of the ecumenical movement, missiology and intercultural theology, and religious studies.
