Niklas Peuckmann researches into poimenics with regard to military chaplaincy. Moreover, he examines the most recent phenomena of “applied religion” in the context of the current eco-boom. In accordance with the concept of “green religion”, church practices such as pet blessing services or Christian pet funerals are investigated in view of their implication for practical theology. Completed research projects relate to the ethical and anthropological reflexion of the human-animal relationship.
