Christine Siegl is analyzing the current work of the railway mission (“Bahnhofsmission”) in her research project “Nächste Hilfe am Bahnhof.“ The professional self-conception of the people working for the railway mission and their specific work, shall be gathered at exemplarily chosen railway stations, through expert-interviews and participant observation. Expected conclusions of Christine Siegls complex studies are to gain a deeper insight into the multi-facetted area of the church‘s diaconical activitys.
